Hi everyone,
my screen on forerunner 735xt is growing artifacts and bands up to total black.
The watch is still working and whenever I hardly reset it and let it "cool down" for a while, upon restart it works just fine, but after a couple of hours (no activity) it startd developing the artifacts again and in less than 12 hours it goes black again.
I've found the following link for a known issue: https://support.garmin.com/it-IT/?faq=JjCtCviC3t6Y0kub8r8ca9 but I think the procedure through the repair center is obsolete.
I've contacted the garmin assistance, but they just answered to send it to the repair center for replacement at my expenses.
I'm wondering if anyone had the same problem and was able to fix it. I'm quite confindent I can open the watch and replace components, but I'm in doubt it's not the screen but the motherboard to be replaced and I don't want to waste money and time.
