Inaccurate on treadmill

Hi everyone,  my issue is that I run on the treadmill 3 times a week and outside once a week. When I run outside its mountains I run so my pace is always slow. So even when I'm sprinting on a treadmill it says my pace is 7 min per k! Is there anyway I can manually change this?

  • It's not ideal but if you use a Garmin footpod (or a Stryd), you should get a slightly more accurate pace indoors.

The problem with the Garmin footpod is it requires calibration and it's only accurate within a narrow band of speeds (i.e. speeds close to what you calibrated it at.) The problem with Stryd is that it's super expensive.

Or you could just run by feel or HR.
