Screen is Frozen

This is the frozen screen right now! 
I used my new Garmin Forerunner 735XT for the very first time in my long run today and right around mile 12, I heard repetitive beeping sounds on the Heart Rate screen. I tried to push the stop button but it didn’t work. I pushed the back button and it still didn’t work. No buttons were working at this point and the screen is frozen on Heart Rate screen! Until now, my new watch ain’t working!

    To start with try pressing and holding down the light button for 15 seconds until the screen fades. This will cause a hard reset.

    Was the device classified as new from Garmin or some other reputable source?
