Forerunner 735xt stuck in Diagnostic Test Mode

My 735xt has gone into diagnostic mode and is stuck there.

I've tried soft and hard resets repeatedly but with no joy.
I've also tried discharging then fully charging again with no success.
All buttons are clickable and I can scroll through the diagnostic options.
I've tried the solutions/suggestions with similar from the forum so far, no joy.

It just won't come out of this mode

Any suggestions most welcome, thanks.

Hi, I had a similar problem with my Forerunner 235 and after speaking with Garmin Chat, on their advice I soaked it in warm water for 10 minutes which loosened up a faulty down button. I had to do this twice as the first time I guess it wasn't warm enough, but my kettle boils to 70C and this seemed to work on the 2nd occasion.
