I can't upload the video.

put the watch to charge, then it kept flicking in and off from a data screen like the attached and now it won't turn on at all but sounds like it is vibrating.

Any Help? it is just over a year old ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1348909.jpg ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1348910.jpg
  • Looks like it’s in test mode! I’m guessing a master reset with sort it, have you tried that?

We have tried a master reset but didnt work can you confirm what to do?
  • Turn off the watch. Press and hold the right hand buttons and whilst doing that power on. After the first bleep release the top right button, after the second bleep, release the lower right button.
  • Hi chunkywizard - My friend posted this on my behalf because I was having issues with logging into the forums as well! Anyway...thank you for reply. I have tried the reset as you have described and it still takes me back to the test screen. I have also tried the turning off and on trick as well as plugging into a computer. The app says that the watch isn't connected to bluetooth. Any other ideas?
  • Reading google suggests that maybe you have a stuck button which is why it won't do out of test mode. Do you think that is the case? If so (and you can't free it) then you need to phone support.
  • It doesn't look like anything is stuck the buttons appear to be working fine. I have tried to contact Garmin Support and failed miserably...!
  • I’ve spoken with Garmin and she told me to turn it off and on again. If that doesn’t work I need to buy another one for £92! After more googling it could be that a button is stuck - is there a thread that helps me to take my watch apart and put back together again?
