How can i Mark laps during multi sport

Hello new garmin user
On a multi sport activities how can i mark a lap? as the lap button take you to the transition or the next sport

You can't am afraid.
I believe auto lap settings are honoured however.

i was sure i missed it, very basic .... Expect a quick click to mark lap and a long 2 sec click will take to the next sport :-(
also couldn't find auto lap settings in lap swim
