My music uploads worked well for a couple of months. At some point it degraded and is a bit broken.
I have the dreaded "sync failed" issue. I have all my playlists and podcasts that I subscribe to. When I new one arrives,
- add podcast
- click on the new podcast
- garmin looks for wifi
- Spotify app pops up with 0%
- Sync failed message pops up
- does this four times
- On the fifth time the podcast starts downloading and it completes
- If I continue adding other stuff it usually works on the first try.
The next day or two when I new podcast arrives it happens again.
I have tried:
- Log off and logging back into the app
- Removing the app and reloading it
- Hard resetting the whole device and loading everything back up
- Syncing before I start with the Spotify App
- Making a Wifi connection before starting the spotify app
- Taking with Spotify support
- Taking with Garmin Support
I left off with Garmin having them ask me to try connecting to a different Wifi and see if it still happens (believing it is my ISP/Router and not the watch or the app) I don't have access to another wifi router, except a public one....like Starbucks, and I don't think it is possible to connect to a public wifi with log in screen.
Garmin also asked me to use Garmin Express: but I do everything wirelessly. I'm a linux guy, and don't have a silly Mac or PC.
Just wanted to write and say with this new Spotify update....it is still happening.
