Auto lap forerunner 45s set at 1.6km

Hi,

I have a new Garmin forerunner 45s which is set to metric but the auto lap feature is defaulting to 1.6km so I’m only getting notifications every mile.

Any idea how I change it as can’t find it in any google searches.

The autolap distance is a setting of each activity (run, walk, trail...)

Long press on the up button in the activity to bring the menu.

Please do as below steps:

Connect the forerunner 45s with Garmin Connect on your mobile

Change the distance as mile and sync

then change back the settings -> change the distance back as KM, then sync again.

Check the auto lap on you watch, it should be as 1 km.

Thanks. I did not undrstand where I should go and change the distance as Mile. Can you please explain that.
