Missing map after lap button pressed

During a running activity, after doing approximate 8km at an easy pace, I decided to "lap" the watch (by pressing the down right button) and do the last 800 meter at higher speed.

However, where I press the lap button the map shows that the activity stopped. All metrics, the laps, time, pace etc, everything from the HRM-Run and Dynamics Pod were recorded correctly. The "map" for the activity on the watch is also missing the last 800 meters (so it's not related to sync nor the Garmin Connect). I don't think was an coincidence that the GPS signal was lost just as I pressed the button.

Is this a known bug that other has seen?

I had a similar problem on my run last night, but did not hit the lap button. I went for an 8.26 mile run, but when I check the map it says that I stopped somewhere between 5 and 6 miles. All of the stats are correct, it's just the map that is wrong. I have Garmin set to sync with Strava and the map on Strava is the same as Garmin. When I view the run on the watch the map it is also wrong.

I just saw this happen today. Happened during a workout and lost gps data points for 1.36 miles of a 13.1 mile run after an auto-lap was triggered 7 miles in. Like others have said, all other data is there for those 1.36 miles just missing map data.
