These have the nub and should fit the stock band, though you'll have to do your own measuring.

Same here with my 935 strap which I already replaced one and I'm not happy to pay another $50. Does Garmin even monitor these forums?
In other thoughts, are the keepers covered by the warranty? I'm…
Mine broke off about 3 weeks ago too on my 645M, about 2 and a half year old. Isn't the band for 235 and 645 the same though?
Anyways. I fell over one of Garmin's competitors forum, where people were…
I had one breaking on my previous vivoactive HR and Garmin sent me a complete new strap under warranty (2 years in the EU).

Quality silicone bands can be had for $20 or less. Check out the Barton Elite, for instance (also available on Amazon). It comes with double keepers, one locking. I have the red and it looks fantastic with the black and silver of the 645. It's a bit thicker and less flexible than the Garmin, but it's comfortable enough that it seldom leaves my wrist. I'd say that it's very durable and will likely outlast the watch.

Anyways. I fell over one of Garmin's competitors forum, where people were having the same issue - no replacement for the band keeper. First post in 2016, going all the way up to 2018 with an administrator of their forum continuously saying "thank you for you feedback, we appreciate it etc etc." though, they did not introduce a band keeper replacement in 2 years time. LOL.
Right, I will look at getting a new band keeper from Amazon or something of the sort, though I will probably buy a new band too - different colour, since I've been meaning to do that for a while anyways.
Mine just snapped this morning, precisely at the corner where it bends. It's around 16 months old so I am a little disappointed although i worked out quite hard with my watch.
The dutch Garmin shop offers a new original band for €29,99 > https://buy.garmin.com/nl-NL/NL/p/552881/pn/010-11251-0Y#
That's way less then 50 dollars although it ins't cheap for a piece of molded silicon.
The black version serial number is 010-11251-0Y, so maybe doing a search on the web from your state may help you find a good replacement.
Mine was snapped in the middle, on the long side.
Anyways, an update, figured I could use an O-ring as a substitute for the band keeper. Before that I used a rubber band - a green one which didn't fit much with the black band I have.
The black O-ring fits well though and it sits at perfect tightness so I don't need to have anything "stuck" in-between the holes of the band.
I will keep using that, see how it goes over time. After all, no one really notice the band keeper anyways. Even if they do, the O-ring looks to match the watch at any rate, so it is doubtful anyone would question the authentication of it. :D
This is an issue easily handled - just buy a few extra band keepers, in generic black - I've seen packs of 7 or 8, for like $6.00USD. Almost nothing. And replacement bands themselves are plentiful and cheap out there on the internet - you can get them for as little as $4 to $8USD. Again, easy to resolve.
THANK YOU for the recommendation of Barton Elite replacement band for Garmin 645. I have a very small wrist and most bands swallow it. Barton Elite provides 2, yes 2 lengths in the replacement. And fit is better than Garmin original band.

The keeper of my 735 broke. I decided to contact Garmin. No answer. But a few days later a mail that a keeper is on the way to me. I even found 2 keepers in the letter. They are for the 235 (I really wrote 735 in the contact formular) but they fit. So I kept them. I didn't have to pay anything.
