Running tracks persistently displaced to the left

From my very first run in Sept with my 645 (>300km up to now) I have noticed that the running tracks are consistently (~6m?) displaced to the left. Cycling tracks are very good, std MTB riding position.
Some observations:
EVERY* running activity will exhibit this behaviour
The left displacement will be for more than 90/95% of the track
The offset will rarely be (I think actually never) to the RHS
When making a U-turn the track will again 'jump' to the LHS of the true track (see pic)
This happens regardless of recording mode: GPS, GPS + GLONASS, GPS + Galileo, Smart, 1sec
When e.g. stopping (traffic lights etc) the position will jump to the real position only to immediately revert when starting running again. (Or when doing a fairly 'radical' directional (| speed) change, say a 90 degree turn etc)
Normal running posture
Firmware is up to date
Many (factory) resets have been done
This behaviour is predictable and not random. (YES, I DO expect non-perfect tracks but not in this predictable, repeatable, guaranteed fashion over approx 45 running activities.)

As an example see the picture of a 21km (2 x 10km laps) done on Saturday, same (a-c) direction. The detour was only on the second lap. The 'jump' to the LHS can clearly be seen where I made the U-turn. (The blue line shows the actual track)

The complete track can be seen here : https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/3166149545

Your thoughts will be appreciated.
  • An update on this - I am still testing but the recorded track meets my expectation if I carry the watch face-up in my left hand while running,

Can this point to a possible antenna issue?
