Stryd Pod support on 645m and other questions

Hello, I currently have the 935 and using it along with the Stryd foot pod. Looking to get the 645M, does the 645M has the same features as the 935 where I can select pace and distance to always come from Stryd footpod and still have the gps track recorded in the background for the run? Thanks.

Also, how many customized data pages are available in the 645m? And what is the memory size for installing connectIQ apps? My 935 seems to have a much higher captivity for Connectiq apps than my 235.
  • The only question I know the answer to is how many customized data pages. Go to https://forums.garmin.com/forum/into-sports/running/forerunner-645-645m/1294320-645-features-beyond-the-headlines and you'll see that Garmin-Joey stated: "The Run profile offers up to 11 custom data pages on top of options for 9 other default data pages (HR, 2 Running Dynamics, Clock, Virtual Partner, Map, Compass, Elevation, Music Controls)." Plus a lot of other good information in that thread.

The Forerunner 645 will allow for Speed and Distance from a Garmin Foot Pod to be set to Always, and I don't expect that the Stryd foot pod would be any different.

There is space for 32 Connect IQ apps just like Forerunner 935. There is the same two Connect IQ datafield restriction like all devices.

Thank you. Now only if we can get a more definitive release date.
