Please could you update the firmware so that the 'wait for GPS' screen includes the time of day as I understand other Forerunner models do?
It can take many minutes to get a lock and during this time the watch won't tell you the actual time of day which is not very useful if you are about to start a race or meet someone. If you exit the activity to check the time, it can still take many minutes to reacquire the lock.
I currently have three choices:
1) miss the start of the race
2) run the race without GPS information at the beginning
3) wear two watches!
