My watch keeps buzzing every few seconds for heart rate 255. How can I fix this?

On runs, my watch keeps buzzing every few seconds regarding a heart rate of 255. This is incredibly annoying. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Forerunner 45. I looked up instructions and saw to change the settings on the Garmin app. It did not show anything about HR 255. Do you know how to change the settings from the watch? Or just sync the settings and hope it works?

Thank you all. The instructions below pointed me in the right direction. I figured out that holding down the start button while on the HR tab on the watch helped to turn off the constant dinging.
