I can’t record a run. When I press start, select run it says wait for GPS and nothing happens. If I press start it says time 193:02 and an alarm goes off

You need a GPS lock before starting your run. If it's taking too long, see thread and response from Garmin-Brooks - Waiting for GPS for too long

Thanks for your reply. I have tried this several times and it still does not work. Is there anything else I can do?

I don't know of anything else other than doing a factory reset or contacting Garmin Support.
