My son (about to turn 12) is a competitive cross country and track runner so I’m planning on getting him his first running watch for Christmas for training (he doesn’t wear and watch in meets) likely the FR 45S. I’ve used many Garmin’s over the years but my question lies with setting up his new Garmin ... can this watch be setup with his actual age and still track or do we have to enter an older age for it to provide the data (coaching, body battery etc.) ... I believe this might have been a legal limitation in the past? Thanks.
