Lap Pace Rounds to Nearest 5 Sec

My new FR 45 seems to be rounding my lap average pace to 5 seconds. I don't remember my FR 220 doing this. It's kind of annoying when the difference between 6:50/mi and 6:55/mi is a 2:59:05 and 3:01:13 marathon.

I am also struggling with this. I'm pretty sure Garmin is intentionally rounding lap pace on the FR45 series to make you buy a pricier one. But by any chance were you able to solve this?

I never did solve it for the FR 45 except by buying the FR 55 when it came out. Even the FR 55 was rounding for awhile, until one of Garmin's software updates changed lap pace to measure to the minute. Since the 55 is the upgrade from the 45 and has been out for a few years, I doubt Garmin will ever update the 45.
