Can I completely recover this corrupt file?

Hello,

I seem to have gotten a corrupt .fit file during my tempo run. I've tried several fixing tools.

The Garmin one gives me an empty file when I try "Convert to _autofix.fit file". Some others I found can partially recover the first 45 minutes of the file. The last 25 minutes looks like a flight to the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

Is there any way to completely recover the last 25 minutes?

Also, how does this happen? How do I prevent this from happening again? Should I reset my watch?
