Forerunner 35 Sleep Tracking

For the past few days (5/3/17 - 5/6/17), my Garmin Forerunner 35 has not been tracking my sleep correctly. I have been wearing a Fitbit Charge 2 HR and Forerunner 35. According to the Fitbit it recorded 2 different sleep sessions which are correct. The Forerunner 35 only records one which greatly under reports my sleep. I also noticed that the Fitbit settings allows me to NOT set specific sleep times and still accurately records my sleep. With the Garmin settings you MUST set sleep times and once I charged my Forerunner 35, obviously NOT wearing it, and it recorded 8 hrs straight sleep during the sleep time hours. I tried to not select a sleep time but it won't do it. Any suggestions?
  • Yes, sleep tracking with FR35 isn't very useful. Today I got up 5.45 am in the morning, watched about 2 hours the marathon in Monza, then went to bed again for 3 hours because the first sleep was a bit short. Only the first sleep was recorded.
