Hi. I don’t know if you fixed the issue. But I had the same problem and based on my research I soaked the watch in warm water and reset it and it work. Apparently this is a common issue when a button gets stuck. I didn’t have an issue with any buttons prior to this. But I noticed when I was trying to fix it that the down button wasn’t beeping when pressed but the others were and soaking it must of loosened the problem. I hope that helps.
How long do you soak it for?
Put into lukewarm water for about 30 minutes. Adding some mild detergent (regular soap should do) might help as well. During the bath, shake it vigorously several times while keeping it submerged. Remember not to press any buttons when the watch is under water.
Thank you. Doing all this while it is powered off?
Doesn't matter. This procedure is supposed to remove any potential deposit that might be impairing the operation of the buttons, so it makes no difference if the device is on or off.
Well I tried twice and it didn’t work. I do know its the down button on the left hand side that is either stuck or not working. Thanks for helping.
My only other concern is my run and all my steps from yesterday were not synced prior to my watch deciding to stop working properly. Any way I can recover that information?
Try connecting the watch to a computer. If the computer can see the watch as a removable drive, then there's a chance the data can be recovered.
Your fix of running the watch under warm water worked like a dream. The stuck button became unstuck and a reset then brought the watch to normal mode from Test mode. Thanks!
