235 lost all languages after update to 8.20

Hi,

After update to SW 8.20, my fathers forerunner 235 lost possibility to change language to any other than english (this one seems to be build-in).

There is no other option to choose on the device.

Language changes done through garmin connect doesn't make any result.

I have checked, and there is no TEXT folder on the device - it seems to be gone after update.

I would copy files from my 735xt, but it doesn't match unfortunately.

Could anybody of you share with me content of his TEXT folder content? Actually I need polish language only.

Garmin - I asked simple question about this issue to your support and there is no feedback at all since a few days. Regrettable!

Same problem here! Also all my activities are deleted from the device after the update.

Finally I was able to solve this issue. Here is the story, I hope that someone from Garmin will read it and think about improvement for the future...

I wrote to Garmin support on 19 August, but didn't get any feedback.

I called Garmin support and get some typical clues like "do hard reset" or "reset to factory settings". I've already tried that so consultant didn't have more options for me. Fortunately - he sent me TEXT folder content when I asked him to do so.

So: I solved it by myself, with minor support of Garmin.

Garmin! Improve your support quality, especially if problem comes to customer together with your official update! Would that cost so much to give some simple answer here - on forum?

Tente pelo Garmin Express, caso não consiga tenta o www8.garmin.com/.../collection.jsp este é o programa web updater nele você consegue colocar os idiomas novamente

Your Text Folder has been Wiped Out (Deleted) /Garmin/Text

Delete all your old activities Fit Files to free up memory if your watch is full. /Garmin/Activity Folder (do this first)

Try using Garmin Express.

If you dont succeed try using WebUpdater.

Additionally

If you have a backup of your watch you could restore the folder manually.

I have the workouts and data on the phone on Garmin Connect.But never used Garmin Express.The update also deleted the workouts so watch is completly clean

How do you mean manually.It doesnt require usage of Garmin Express or what.Sorry but i am not so good with electronics.

You can see the watch contents in Windows Explorer.
