Dear Garmin, I want the Intensity Minutes BACK

Anyone else who feels the same way please chime in.
  • Oh yes, it?s on the website at https://buy.garmin.com/en-GB/GB/p/529988#specs well then it should be supported on the watch IMO
  • No, but Garmin is saying that we have no entitlement to that feature, and so stop banging on about it as if it was part of the package it promised in the model's marketing collateral and technical specifications, .

Oh...I just looked at the website https://buy.garmin.com/en-GB/GB/p/529988#specs and Intensity Minutes is listed under Activity Tracking Features. Go figure.

  • Strange. I went to the specifications page (which automatically directed me to the Australian section of Garmin's web site, not that it matters) before I wrote my earlier post, did a Cmd-F in Safari on my MacBook for the word ?intensity?, and it reported ?No matches? ? but you're right, it's right there, and Safari on my iPad finds it.

    I stand corrected, folks.

There have been some on going discussion regarding the Forerunner 235 and Intensity Minutes. The Forerunner 235 does support this feature. It is a "hidden" feature, meaning that no IM data will be displayed on the device, but is visible online. We are investigating why it is not displaying in the GCM app.

Thank you for acknowledging the issue with the IM and I am glad to see that Garmin is investigating. For those who want to see their IM now you should enable the My Day view beta in Settings.
