jagged heart rate graph of D235

DC Rainmaker spoke in his review that graph of hr during running was jagged, I think because the frequency of beats recorded on the FR 235 was every second while the hr recorded on the D225 was less. He suggested this might/could be fixed in the future with an update.

Does anyone know if this has been done. I am trying to decide between a 235 and a 225 (do not need the non-running features of the 235.

Don't think so, believe it's more a result of using their own sensor instead of the mio sensor. The mio output seems to be more smoothed.

You can set recording mode to auto btw, instead of 1 sec intervals. I always use 1 sec for better accuracy and tracking and am not bothered at all by the jagginess of the hr-graph anymore. I would recommend the 235 over the 225 though. Bigger screen, GLONASS, more features and also ConnectIQ support is just awesome. Makes your watch so more flexible (custom watch faces, added apps such as Hike! and dwMap).

I needed some time adjusting to the FR235 after coming from a TT Cardio, especially the OHR was a step back. But now I adjusted, accepted and overall it works fine for my needs. Also, the other features make up for it as much as possible.
