Software update messed up the date and time

My watch went through a software update this morning (v 4.7) and then I went for a run .

I've just posted my run to Garmin Connect and the date is showing as March 31st 2029

Has anybody else seen this issue? and how can I fix it. With the date so weird, it's not syncing with Strava.

I have a 235 and my time is now wrong after the update. The date is correct, but the time is 4 minutes off.

Restarted watch, phone, and synced a dozen times.

Well I fixed mine. It was as simple as standing outside and waiting 5 minutes for GPS to connect. My run this morning was on an indoor track so I hadn't turned on GPS since the last update.

Thanks, that will probably work going forward....I guess I'm now stuck with an activity set at March 31st 2029. and as far as Strava is concerned, it never happened. I'm glad it wasn't a PB.

Why can't/wouldn't you just edit the date and time of the activity in Garmin Connect online?

As far as I can tell....that is impossible. You can't edit the date and time in Garmin Connect online. That would be a great option if it existed.
