Service Menu

Passed this video on youtube:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfNWDvl7qAo

And apparently that also works on the FR235 :)

With the watch turned off, press down and power to turn it on and keep down pressed while it's booting

Then you'll end up in the service menu where you can do some tests and see some info (nothing really useful as far as I can tell but hey, still funny).

It could be useful to use the HR page to find the best place for the HR monitor looking at HR quality value!!??

Hmmm, couldn't find it this morning... Went through all the screens but no luck.

Did manage to crash the service menu though :P After pressing too many buttons too fast I guess it locked up, just gave beeps at the button presses but stayed in the same screen.

Even getting it to turn off took a while (and the screen went off in a scary way, as if it was melting/liquid inside). But rebooted fine and everything is ok again now, scary moments though so be cautious... just in case ;)
  • You're the kid who took his bike apart and couldn't get it back together again aren't you. :D

Whehe, sure I could... And in an even more efficient way as I always had some spare parts left afterwards ;)
  • Pocket parts are important. Without those laying around you wouldn't have a source of "close enough" size nuts-n-bolts for when you actually lose parts on the next project.
