I started using my new Garmin watch frequently to track my cycling trips. This usually involves biking for a few hours with occassional stops for drink or something to eat. I would also like to use my watch to track a longer bike tour where I would be riding all day with necessarily some stops.
I was very negatively surprised that during the stops, there is an auto save feature, which can’t be turned off, that keeps nagging me and I have to click to skip the auto save all the time. It hasn’t happened to me yet but I guess I could easily miss cancelling the auto save and unnecessarily have my rides separated into more activities, which I wouldn’t like.
Thus, this is my feature request for implementation of a switch that would allow disabling the auto save feature or at least set up a reasonable interval after which the auto save prompts fire (like 30 minutes or so).
