Can we please have the option to have the date and time displayed simultaneously as a watch face style?

Yes, please! This was the first thing I missed. The aluminium style (as in the top picture) does not have any reflecting tips, so the hands are not visible in the dark. But I want status, date and time visible. :-/

This was one of the first things I thought too - why not make this available in one of the options? Seems odd that it wouldn't be an option when it's clearly possible for the watch to do and would then leave the top slot free.

As a compromise you can use the circular face with the status complication at top and current time at bottom. It is busy and no day of week though.

I think the point of this thread is that the 'status' widget allows you to see the date and time on one screen simultaneously in a certain style - but that particular option is not available on any face complication. The question then is - why not and can this be changed?

I agree with the original poster (OP) and would want the requested option added as I would use it. I'm not sure how best to flag this to Garmin though?

That's the real question I suppose - getting Garmin to be aware of the request and maybe action it...

HI there! I can create a feature request and send this over. I can not promise any changes but I will get this started! We appreciate all feedback that you give us to better our products!

If only Garmin would open source the UI-related firmware... I think the community could help with some bits. This device had soooo much promise when it came out.
