Auto save interrupts activity before it's complete

This doesn't happen very often but occasionally I will get the count-down auto-save message before I'm finished with my activity. I don't want to stop my activity. How do I cancel the auto-save and continue the activity? Is there some combinations of swipes or taps that will keep it going? It did it to me again today and I couldn't figure out how to keep the activity going.

It did it to me also, but only once. I noticed this can happen only when the activity is started automaticaly. If you started it , there will be no problems(at least for me)

I always start my activities manually, so I hate it when it auto-saves before I'm finished.

Does Garmin team follow this forum at all?

Ive lost workouts because when I've paused a workout to drive kids to school I sometimes miss the warning vibration on my wrist and device auto saves. I don't want to split my workout into two segments. Garmin, PLEASE allow us to disable autosave! I purposely don't want to use autosave, and from scanning the forums, I'm not alone!

Same happens to me. In just got the watch and I lost 2 of 5 activities because of that feature. Considering going back to Strava.

Yip this auto save function Sucks, although it does save so i can upload my activities, but i have to save them in sections, so irritating.

On a vivoactive 3 the move bar option causes the auto-save. Turning it off solved the issue for me.

I would also really appreciate to be able to disable the auto save. It’s really annoying to need to dismiss it repeatedly. And I would like to pause the tracking while I am sitting somewhere but know that I will continue my ride so that slight movement in the place is not tracked.
