Vivomove 3 doesn't measure heart rate while swimming, sw 4.00

After updating to sw 4.00 Vivomove 3 stopped measuring the pulse while swimming in the pool. In the corresponding window on the activity screen "--" is displayed. Tried resetting the settings - it didn't help.

  • Are you having any issues with HR while outside of the pool? Have you tried checking the fit of the watch, switching wrists by chance?

  • Any issues outside. Moreover, if I stop training on the watch, the heart rate is shown on the main screen. For any other activity, the pulse is measured. Since January I have been swimming in the pool with this watch and my heart rate was always measured. After updating to 4.00 it stopped working. Even sitting now in front of the computer, if I turn on the workout in the pool, move my arms like when swimming, then the distance, time - everything counts. The pulse shows "--".

  • OK, thank you! I will need to get a case created for you! I will have an email sent your way here shortly!

  • Hi, I am also having this problem. Last week vivomove 3s stopped displaying HR in swim activity mode even if not in the water. Software update 4.0. Is there a solution to this?

  • No solution yet? Maybe there is an opportunity to get into the previous version of the firmware?

  • No solution yet? I also noticed that the workout statistics in Garmin Connect shows the average and maximum heart rate. That is, the pulse is measured. I think that the problem is in the window displaying the distance, which appeared in the firmware 4.00. There is no such window in the activity settings through the application.
