vivofit jr.3 won't start anymore after software update

Hi there,

I tried to install a software update on my child's vivofit 3 (according to the app on my phone, it's now version 2.5). The installation seemed to have worked but now the watch won't start anymore. The watch shows a dark screen with the a blinking GARMIN logo... nothing else is happening. I can switch it off and back on but it always just displays the blinking logo. Thank you very much for any kind of help

Hello! I am sorry this has happened. If holding the button for close to 1 min does not allow it to reset. Can you take the batteries out for 10 min and put the back in?

Currently trying to download the software update for my sons vivofit jnr 3 and its isn't updating it says its syncing but nothing has come of it yet.

Holding the button didn't help but taking out the battery did the trick! Thank you!!

My son's watch is doing the same thing. However, we have changed the battery, and nothing has fixed it. At one time, it even flashed a multi-colored box on the display.
