I don't use a smartphone. Can I still use my new Vivofit 4 to display the date and the time?

I want to use my new $86 Vivofit 4 to display the date and time. That's all I bought it for and I don't use a smartphone. Am I out of luck?

If you're not using the watch for any sort of fitness training, just to see the time, then I understand.

Did you try using Garmin Express?

Out of the box it will only count steps. Once paired with app it will tell the time.

Yeah, I need to remember to read the instructions before purchasing anything powered. At least it didn't cost much.
