Vivoactive 5 software update 12.10 battery drain

Significant battery drain with Vivoactive 5 after I got an update this morning. Battery drained ~40% in the past 7 hours just with walking and casual activity. Not sure if this is a problem others are experiencing?

Had my mine for six months no issues, did the most recent update and my battery has dropped like 20% in a couple hours

Had my vivoactive 5 for around 6 months, no issues. Until I downloaded latest update and within a couple hours the battery drained like 30%.

Same here. Had this watch about 3-5 months. A charge used to last well over a week. I noticed in the last 3 days that a charge now only lasts less than one day. It is dead every morning when i wake up. I can no longer use it to track my sleep. No settings have been changed. I do not use GPS. This should still be under warranty. Can I get Garmin to replace it. I have been using Garmin watches since about 2005. This is the worst I've had.
