Vivoactive 4: Can we get some upgrades please!

Was Looking at the Venu 2 and other smartwatches just for fun to see what kind of upgrades and features were available:

Can the Vivoactive 4 add any of these features? I'm sure 95% of the information is already there (maybe somebody more tecky can verify)... just has not been added as display options.
Smart watches have had these features and capabilities for years.

-Health Snapshot screen

-Heart Rate Variability

-Sleep score

HEALTH SNAPSHOTTm FEATURE

Log a 2-minute session to record key stats, including heart rate2, heart rate variability, Pulse Ox3, respiration and stress. Then generate a report with those stats via the Garmin ConnectTm app on your compatible smartphone to share.

WRIST-BASED HEART RATE

The watch constantly samples your heart rate2 and will alert you if it stays too high or too low while you’re at rest. It also helps gauge how hard you work during activities — even while swimming.

SLEEP SCORE AND ADVANCED SLEEP MONITORING

Get a score for your sleep’s quality and insights on how you can do better. Even keep track of the different sleep stages as well as heart rate, stress, Pulse Ox3 and respiration.

  • I think most Vivoactive owners are running. I certainly am. I prefer to have both buttons and touchscreen. I also prefer a compact and slim watch, but with as much data logging abilities as possible. It is also important for me that the display is always on. As a triathlete, I was of course considering Fenix and Forerunner, but I find them too bulky, and I miss the touchscreen.

  • The "indoor" part also works much better with AMOLED, but are really hard to see in bright light (sun).  MIP displays (like on the va4, forerunners and Fenix devices) are far superior in bright sun.

I know, myself I don't plan to switch to AMOLED for that reason, as I really love MIP displays and don't mind having washed out colors.

When you start looking at forerunners and fenix, you'll also find things like recovery time that you won't see on va/venu device, native support of power meters, support for multi-sport, open water swim, etc.

They are here but I have to use Runalyze.com or Tredict.com to see them, of course it would be cool to have it on watch. I don't use bicycle enough to justify power meter, it's just too expensive.  And open water swimming is cool but again I don't swim much enough, so I've just bough Swim+ app from CIQ to solve that issue.

I find that setting timers with touch or buttons really isn't that different

I hope so, but when I watched videos with reviews I got another impression, if I ever met some Garmin watch with buttons in here, I'll make sure to test out how timers are set. Maybe as you say it wouldn't be much different, and I should just go with the flow and trust Garmin.

I'm curious why each time some owner of Vivo or Venu start to ask about features which even cheaper Forerunners have, there always a number of people who try to convince them that they don't need those or why Garmin shouldn't implement them. What's the motivation behind this, can you tell?
