Vivoactive 3 no longer sends golf score cards to garmin golf app

I’ve used this for about 2 years but all of a sudden not all of my scorecards transfer to garmin golf. The watch is showing I’ve played and transfers this to garmin connect but the score isn’t available in garmin golf.

has anyone else had this problem and found a solution?

Hi. Had the same issue but after connecting my watch to Garmin Express on a computer and syncing the App seems to have sorted itself out and scorecards are showing again.

I have the same issue.

Someone suggested that it was corrupt dat files in the Garmin/Golf folder on the watch that needed to be deleted. However after doing that, i still have the same problem. Not sure if the latest update that just arrived will change any of that. Syncing the fitness part always works, but the scorecard still needs to be synced via express. This is really frustrating.

Hi my watch has started to fail to load scorecard. I have connected my watch to Garmin Express but it hasn't helped. Are there any other ways to fix this issue?

Same issue here. Is this not where a responsible vendor steps in and supports its customers by offering a solution, or am I expecting too much from Garmin? Come on Garmin, we paid good money for these products. The least you can do is provide support.

There was a mention of a fix in 7.70, I assume it did not work. Perhaps better to contact Garmin support rather than using the forum since it is/was a known bug.

Anyone got feedback from Garmin support? I have VA3 with 7.70 and scorecards are still not transferred to Garmin golf app.

Hi, no reply, but I connected my VA3 to laptop and re-synced and my lost 2 cards appeared.
maybe worth a try.

Had same issue this weekend, first time it’s ever been a problem. Round saved okay on vivoactive 3 and synced fine to Garmin Connect on phone, but didn’t update scorecard on Garmin Golf app on phone (running iOS).

I connected watch to PC, downloaded Garmin Express onto PC, logged in and my scorecard was visible. Opened Garmin Golf app on phone and my round was then visible in app. Sorted.

Only thing I noticed this time when sync didn’t work is I had low battery warning on 18th, but saved round with about 15% left. Not sure if that was the cause or not (i doubt it, but maybe something Garmin could look at).

All good now.
