Thanks Garmin.
No issues so far. I don't use Spotify, but all else is solid.
Immediately after the update, the Bluetooth connection between watch and phone no longer works. On the watch, the Bluetooth logo blinks from white to green and back. On the phone, in Connect, the refresh…
Any word on when we can expect a fix to bluetooth connectivity drop outs seemingly introduced in 5.80 and unresolved in 5.90? Running with phone in hand is getting old fast.
The golf 5.81 fix is missing ( sloppy job Garmin). I hope they did not miss out anything else (I think they did, since the beta includes stability fixes). Golf green display is broken again.
Just had a chat with support and it is under investigation. See also another consumer recognizing it :
Fixed in 5.91.

Update to 5.90 has effected ability to see notifications. Device is still getting them and all other functions seem fine, but cannot scroll to see any notifications.

Unfortunately this update seems to have (re)created intermittent playback issues with non-Spotify music. My bluetooth headphones are dropping out every 5-10 mins. This issue initially occurred with an over the air bluetooth update 3 weeks ago, but seemed to have been resolved via a bluetooth update on Garmin Express last Thursday. However, following the 5.90 update, the issue is back worse than ever. Don’t know whether to laugh or cry...
Good tip, but unfortunately it hasn’t helped. Initially it seemed to make the cut outs even more frequent, but after repairing my headphones I was back to disconnections every 10 mins or so.
Guess I will have to wait for the next full update and hope they fix it (and that the other features they break aren’t ones that I use). Like you, I find the “use at your own risk” warning on beta versions very ironic.
This issue was resolved by performing the reset from the Garmin device.
