Heart rate monitor isn’t accurate

My Viviactive3 worked perfectly at first. Now it doesn’t. It’s been 6 months and more often than not it doesn’t pickup my heart rate accurately. I’ll be huffing and puffing but it will read 75. ?????
Can this be fixed??? I might as will switch to Apple!

You already know that the optical heart rate meters on the wrist are unreliable, for workouts to go for a chest band.

  • It realy depends on the activity and the blood flow for the wrist sensor to be accurate. I have had various results with a crosstrainer activity, sometimes fine, sometimes it takes up to 10 minutes for the sensor to catch up. I have used variation of tightness and shaving hair, moisturizing it etc. There was no consistent cure, so I decided to buy a cheap (Magene) strap and it works like a charm.
