vivoactive 3 Music SW 5.80 is now live

This update can be downloaded with Garmin Express or automatically with Garmin Connect Mobile (pending rollout).

My watch woke me early this morning by vibrating to inform me of this update. Thanks Garmin. I am happy to see some of the software mistakes corrected but surely updates could be done without waking me - perhaps, if after hours no vibration else daytime.

My head phones do not connect anymore since this update. Anyone else having this issue??

I'll check when i get home. Just got the update forced upon me at work. I hope they didn't break anything.

Yep. My watch just updated. Now, all of the music I had loaded onto my watch is gone, most of my Spotify playlists have been deleted, and all the paired headphones had been reset. After a few tries, I got it to connect to my bluetooth speaker, but I can not get it to connect to connect to my earbuds. :( That is NOT what I would call "music experience improvements."

Edit: I just spent 20 minutes or so on chat with support. We were able to get my earbuds to connect after hard resetting them. So, if you're having an issue connecting headphones/earbuds, give that a try!

It's a stable version for me - no issues.

Weird. My Bose headphones still connect fine.

Uploading activities have stopped working since updating to version 5.80.
It won´t work with my iphone(bluetooth) nor with my PC(cable).

What's really weird is that the heart rate monitor on my watches stopped count anything and shows zero permanently after this update. I have reset them to default, factory settings, and expectedly it doesn't help. BTW, I checked my heart pace, it's presented, I'm not a zombie, so I'm really frustrated because of it all. Really hope that Garmin RnD guys will fix such unpleasant bugs asap.
