Vivoactive 3 settings for wrist movement

Hi all - complete newbie here. I got a Vivoactive for Christmas and would like to know if you can stop it from lighting up when I move my wrist?

i would be happy just to tap the watch if I need it to light up.

Hi,

Settings - System - Backlight. If you don't want to turn on light for wrist movement, turn off Gestures.
