Heart rate monitoring is on during pool swimming, for good or temporary?

Noticed on last two swimming sessions.Good option, I would like to have it in the future also.

Mine is also updated to 7.20 few days ago but I didn't go for swimming yet. Will tell you when is happened.

I've noticed the same thing. The HR monitor is running in the pool and coming up on the daily graph but not recorded in the activity since software 7.2. The HR seems accurate for me. The intensity matches…

I still get the notification that it is turning off.... but when I look at my HR graph for the day it has the data for my swim. Just wish I could get it into my Strava activity so I could monitor fitness…

Not sure why yours is different. Mine looks like the first image in this thread. I get the data on the app and in connect website. I just wish it would be recorded in the activity, as it is not really useful where it is and is clearly a bug that they accidentally let through. When I first got my VA3, the behaviour was the same as now... but then they shut it off. The only benefit I see in enabling it is that you get intensity minutes for swimming where I did not before.

I was in the pool last night and HR monitoring was on again

Not presented in activity only in HR data
