Tried my Vivoactive3 on the golf course last week but the distances all were all in meters even though I've set the distances to yards for golf. Everything else is generally in meter (live in Canada). Any suggestions?

I tried this. Changing the Garmin golf app to use yards changes the whole Vivoactive 3 device to use miles and yards for all activities.
So it seems that you have deprecated the ‘Golf Distance Units’…
It's simple fix for the huge development resources of Garmin, the units of measure need to be set by the user and be specific by each Activity Profile on the watch.
So for running/cycling I should…
Having same issue with vivoactive 4. Very annoying
Hi ! Just want to join the party of unsatisfied customers. Never thought a company like Garmin would have so little consideration for its customers. Implementing this solution should be easy peasy as it's just a conversion of an information you already have. In addition, some of your watches offer this option as mentioned here: https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=TPjKwswDLn7gWCui1vHV89
Garmin, what are you waiting for ?
Is there any plan to fix this in a future update? I don't understand how this hasn't been fixed yet. It's a clear bug that has existed for 2 years....
I support this as well. I think Garmin does not realize that there is a fairly large client base that would want this functionality. I owned a vivoactive 1, now a vivoactive 3. My wive has a vivoactive 4. My next sports watch will provide the ability to set Golf distances in units different than my training distance units.
