Garmin, please solve this issue or give us an option to roll back frimware. I had no issues until this battery drain problem. One week battery was the only reason I bought this watch.

Yup same battery drain issue here everything great since the purchase of Vivoactive 3 in Jan 2018.

Always had stellar battery life of about 4 days. that includes 2 x 20 mins of GPS and the built-in cycling…

After the device upgrade and the sensor upgrade I thought everything was fine BUT.... every like half an hour the watch restarts seemingly installing another upgrade and then I get the sensor upgrade notification. I has happened ~4 times now and I don't see it stopping EDIT: 5th time just now....

Another nice upgrade from Garmin, I hope it come with a solution too and NO resetting the device is NOT a solution

I hope so too! My watch will go from 100 to 3 percent overnight....while sleeping!

This update!! Battery drain is worse than before, 38% in 8 hours. And I keep getting the memory is full notification, despite uploading to Garmin Connect.

For me, by the moment I notice a better step counting, 6.40 start to count steps meantime I was driving, 1h driving around 500 steps... I also notice more accurancy in the stairs counter and no worst performance or any battery drain... Lets see!

i'v noticed a little more battery drain now in 6.60 firmware i have 0.55% avg/ hour, vs 0.35% hour in 6.40, but i have to investigate more long term consumption...
