I use the Garmin stock weather widget on my VA3. When travel I notice it takes a couple days for it to change to my current location. It eventually does, but it takes a while. How do I get it to recognize I'm in a new location to provide weather in for this new place?
I've searched the forums and found a good bit of discussion about having to have location services enabled on my phone for the Garmin Connect Mobile app. That is enabled. I've also seen discussion about it using the location of the last time the GPS was run but that does not seem to be it. I've tried starting an activity with GPS then saving it to GCM, does not make a difference. It still shows the weather data for the previous location (I can tell it is the old location because the temps are so wildly off from the new location and match the previous place).
Any idea how to get the watch to recognize it is in a new place and start using that for weather?
