Now it takes about 5min+/-, to locked on GPS signal in a known open and clear space (Location) always, but before the 5.4 update it was just like a minute less to acquire GPS signal on the same exact location... Any thoughts on this?
I did a hard reset last night and was able to get a GPS locked in less than 5 sec in the same location where it took me like 5 min or more to locate a GPS signal... hope this could be the solution.
After this 5.40 update on the VA3 the GPS is useless it was ok with 5.20 with in 10m+ or - now it's always way below sea level so because of that it won't track floors correctly at all and again totaly useless and i'm realy not happy with this as it was a good watch and yes i have reset it twice with the same result so i'm putting to down to a very poorly tested firmware and i realy hope Garmin fix this ASAP or this watch will be going in the draw.
Folks, please report back if the GPS problem manifests again in the near future. My watch is once again taking minutes, rather than seconds, to acquire a GPS lock.
