VO2 max not updating

Hello,

My VO2 Max isn't updating. I do the test and it shows the result on the watch, sends the exercise to GC. The walk is shown in the GC (both android and website) but it does not update VO2 Max and even my watch shows „last updated“ on some older date.

Anybody else had this problem, how did you solve it? It is hard to search forum for this problem since search won't accept “VO2 Max” as a search term.

I wanted to check if anybody had this problem before doing factory reset

Same problem . Got a new device, updated for 3 days, now week with no updates on my GC

After every run from the Garmin Coach 5k training plan the VO2 Max was updated for me in GC

I presume that it is related to the activity being a walk. Try going for a run and seeing if it updates.

Hello,

Update on this situation.

I did a new VO2 Max test today and the results are strange to say the least.

When I check my watch it shows unchanged results and dates as you can see on attached photos but when I check GC (both android and web versions) it shows unchanged results on „Most recent“ tab and yet when I check it “over time” it shows that it increased in august.

I'm not sure what to think about this, is this a watch problem or GC problem? Anybody else having these same problems or some idea of what I should do to solve this situation?

I contacted support and they informed me that they already have an engineering ticket open for this and that I've been added to the ticket.

This was fixed. First it was corrected in gc but the watch still wasn't showing correct information. Now with new firmware it's correct on the watch too.

Halo. I seem to have this issue. Did not eve notice, but the last VO2Max update was done 28/07. Till then I had it measured after every run. Since this date I've done 8 runs, some of them might not have been eligible. Watch let's me know that last update was today. Thank you for your help.

I had the same issue when I accidentally turned off access to calendar for Garmin connect app on my phone. Go to settings on your phone>Applications> select Garmin connect and check permissions. Access to calendar has to enable to add records of VO2 Max.
