Yes I'm getting this rattling when the watch has a vibrating notification. Really annoying. Suddenly started out of the blue. I wear the watch 24x7 but it's not abused, just normal use. Stuff doesn't seem to last anymore
The same thing is happening with my Garmni Drive 51 that I bought 7 mos ago. It is not supposed to vibrate at all. When I tilt it back and forth in one direction or another, the parts inside slide back and forth, making a loud clunking or rattling noise, as if a shuttle is sliding back and forth inside. Garmin Support only offered me a refurbished model to replace it, not a new one, and I have to pay the return shipping to get the defective one to them that I bought new. Definitely lousy warranty. Most importantly I found through a Google search that this is a known issue happening with various Garmin products, not just the watch, not just the GPS I have, but other Garmin products, too. Garmin is selling poorly made junk and then only offering refurbished items to replace. Pretty bad, Garmin. You can do better than that. I have been a loyal Garmin buyer, but I will now think twice before I ever buy from them again.
