Sideswipe control not working

So just the other day the sideswipe control is not working, when I move my finger across it at the very end it STARTS to pull the watch face display down but then stops. I checked the setting of the sideswipe via this thread and it has a green switch beside it so it appears to be on.

Maybe check application compatibility? I have an altimeter app on my VA3 that barely works at all with the sideswipe at the moment. Every other widget scrolls perfectly smoothly but then it either skips over the altimeter or else if I'm going more slowly gets stuck on it.
