Changing lap distance in XC Ski activity

How to change lap distance in XC Ski activity (or even disable laps)?
By default it set to 1.61 km (=1 mile), so during the activity every 1.61 km watches vibrate, but it's inconvenient for me as I use standard metric system.

Hi there

I got the same issue. Acutally I don't want any lap notofication when im XC skiing. Any information why there is no lap setting for XC skiing activity?

I had reported bug issue to Garmin, they agreed that this is bug and told me they will work on it.

In FW5.0 Garmin added laps! Will try skiing to test is it really fixed )

schet_: Well spotted! Seems like the autolap function now now has custom distance in the other activity types as well, not only XC Skiing. Nice!

...or has it been like that from before? (I can only remember autolap on/off)

Please read the first message. Before this update in xc ski mode there is no lap options. But laps actually counted and notifying me each mile (even that settings set to kilometers)

I know, I experienced the same thing. My point were that they not only added the on/off setting, but also the ability to set custom distance.

Before the update the other activities (i.e. Run and Walk) had the on/off setting, but I can`t remember if we could set the distance as well like we can now.
