Vivoactive 3, no map data

Since upgrading firmware on my Vivoactive 3 to 2.80.0.0 I no longer get any map data in the Garmin Connect app or on the website. Similarly synced data to Strava fails to produce a map of the activity.
Other gps data such as distance, pace, speed, elevation seems to be working fine.
Anybody else having similar problems since firmware update? Everything worked fine on version 2.70.0.0

There is a similar problem with the Golf Activity not showing GPS information, Distance or Intensity minutes since the 2.70 FW

Support have been notified just waiting on a fix.
