Hello. Looking for help over here. I have a brand new Vivoactive 3, it is 2 days old, yet the software is already malfunctioning. The watch keeps trying to update itself, it keeps failing to do and keeps restarting itself, thus making it totally unusable. I keep getting this message on the watch: "Preparing Update. Update failed. Try again from Garmin Connect." Then it restarts, tries to update itself again, fails, restarts again... I used the watch twice for running, then it started acting up and is unusable ever since.
As of now, it manages to stay on for maybe 2-3 minutes, then it tries to update itself and the never-ending cycle restarting begins. When I try to connect it to Connect, nothing really changes. It stays on for a moment, it connects to the app (sometimes it takes over a minute to connect), syncs, then sometimes the update bar shows itself but then the whole thing repeats itself: "Preparing Update. Update failed. Try again from Garmin Connect."
I imagine I can't be the only with this problem. Has anyone encountered this? Any advice would be highly appreciated.
SW Version is 2.60, GPS version 4.30, TSC version 2.10, Sensor Version 5.10, WHR Version 20.03.24, Connect IQ 2.3.4.
