I have been debating what to get. I dont need a watch, I need an activity tracker. If I were to get the sport, what am I missing? What are the technical differences? I know the sport doesnt have golf and the ability to connect to sensors - two things I do not use on my vivoactive HR. Is the heart rate monitor different? I really just need to track running, biking, walking, and sleep. I do sometimes track other activities but on my wifes vivosmart she just sets them to running or whatever and changes it in the app. So what are the big functional differences between these two?
I?d miss sensors and some preloaded apps, such as rowing and downhill skiing. I don?t think Vivosport will pause at lifts or count strokes for on the water rowing as my VAHR does. The VA3 has structured workouts capability on top of this, a very useful feature.
I am in a similar position. I think if the Vivosport had a slightly larger screen, I just prefer square/rectangle screens for data presentation, and one physical button I'd have bought one already.
